Are we supposed to attend something or be something? As you read through the New Testament and study the early church, do you feel like we are doing it right? The average church member attends a service averaging an hour long, an average of twice a month, and gives an average of 2.5 percent of their income to their local congregation. This is what attending an average church looks like for the average christian today. If what we have done has produced who we are, then maybe it is time to consider if we should stop being average and become the church.
